They need contact with others, because it is in contact with the world that they come to know themselves far better.
It was the classic couple out of films about the 1930s... And about the 1960s... And about the 1970s, and the 2000s for good measure. I'm sure even you know a couple like the heroes of my story, or have at least heard of them. Frankly, I would not have risked officially matching a couple with characters like that through our agency. But as a rule they manage perfectly well without us.
