Dimitri Korenev
Psychosocial counsellor and supervisor licensed in Austria — staatlich geprüfter psychosozialer Berater (state-certified life and social counsellor, LSB), Vienna.
My practice rests on three Austrian documents: the licence to provide counselling issued by the Vienna Magistrat (GISA), the state examination of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce — level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework — and a place in the WKO expert pool of supervisors. Behind them are more than 1,500 hours of training and practice under the Austrian regulations.
I work one to one: relationships, work, crises, moving country. I analyse personality type according to the S-Theory — I have translated and published all three volumes of the method in German, I teach it in Austria, I founded the Vienna club ‘Freud's Legacy’ and developed the DatiCo test. The test is further down this page, free of charge; we go through the result together. I also provide supervision for counsellors.

Start with my test
I developed the DatiCo test on the basis of the S-Theory — it identifies your type out of 12. The test is free and sits right below this section: take it, and bring the result to a session.
1. Take the test
A few minutes, no registration. The result is not a label but a set of coordinates: where your reactions come from and what suits you.
2. We go through the result together
60 minutes one to one, online or in person in Vienna: what in the result is about you, and what is about your situation.
3. You leave with a plan
Concrete steps instead of general words. After that it is up to you: single sessions or regular work.
Documents, not promises
The S-Theory is an author's school of thought, not a clinical method; the test result is not a diagnosis. The right to practise and the level of training, however, are backed by documents — you can open them and look for yourself.
The right to practise
GISA extract from the Vienna Magistrat: a valid Gewerbeberechtigung for Lebens- und Sozialberatung (life and social counselling), place of practice 1210 Wien. Since 2020.
State examination
Prüfungszeugnis of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce: Befähigungsprüfung in Lebens- und Sozialberatung (Psychosoziale Beratung), level 6 NQR/EQF — the equivalent of a bachelor's degree. 2024.
Supervisor
Bestätigung of the Fachverband Personenberatung und Personenbetreuung: admission to the ExpertInnenpool of supervisors — 250 hours of further training, practice and three years of independent work. 2026.
Teacher of the S-Theory
Certificate of the Research Institute of Social Psychology and the Psychology of Personality Development: the S-Theory course, the right to teach the method. Translator of all three volumes into German.

Experience before psychology
1999 – 2024
Projects and management in international teams
Austria, the banking sector: I led projects and departments made up of people from a dozen countries. Hence the ability to hear different cultures and to speak to a client in their own language.

Research Institute: trainer on psychology courses. Founder of the Vienna club ‘Freud's Legacy’ — more than 200 meetings, live streams and gatherings.

I moved to Austria as a student and made a life here — I know the emigrant's path from the inside, not from a textbook.
