Mental training

Mental training

What is it? I decided to explain to you what mental training is. Put simply, it is training your own thoughts. Our thoughts shape our life, our success, our relationships, our well-being, our money, our work and so on. Everything starts with a thought. First we think, then we feel accordingly, and then we act that way too.

What is it? I decided to explain to you what mental training is. Put simply, it is training your own thoughts. Our thoughts shape our life, our success, our relationships, our well-being, our money, our work and so on. Everything starts with a thought. First we think, then we feel accordingly, and then we act that way too.

These thoughts, the things we think, are written on our face; they show in our posture and in our walk, and other people simply sense them on an energy level. You radiate either self-confidence, say, or the lack of it. And people will treat you exactly the way you feel about yourself. Feel like a nobody, and everyone will wipe their feet on you. Feel like royalty, and everyone will admire you.

And how you feel depends on what you think. If you think you are a fool who can do nothing and never gets a break, you will feel accordingly, and you will mirror those very feelings back to others in the way you speak, walk and look at them. The eyes, the face, the walk are the mirror of the soul. People see what is inside you, and they behave with you accordingly.

So mental training is work with your thoughts. You interrupt the negative stream of thoughts, replace it with positive ones, and your life changes. Essentially, every thought in our head was suggested to us either by other people or by ourselves. In other words, it is suggestion. Mental training deals with re-suggestion. It takes place in a light hypnotic state. You take part in the process yourself and afterwards you remember everything that happened — unlike clinical hypnosis, where all memory of what was done under hypnosis is erased. You can record video or audio to make sure nothing extra was suggested to you (if you have such concerns). There are no tricks involved. This is work with the subconscious, which becomes accessible only in that relaxed hypnotic state. Mental training also works with the pictures of the inner eye — that is, with your imagination.

Thoughts are, in essence, pictures. We simply replace the bad pictures with good ones, and you are as good as new.

So if you really do want to change something in your life, this is an excellent way to do it. Give it a try.

The Freud's Legacy club will soon be running a Mental Training course. It will have several levels — or rather, there will be several courses. The first one is for the ordinary person who wants to change their thinking and, along with it, their life. There will also be courses for specialists who want to learn the techniques and methods of mental training in order to broaden their qualifications.
