How to treat back and neck pain. A review of the methods

A short but necessary addition. I have given several decades to medicine, health practices and body work: various kinds of massage and diagnostics, manual therapy and kinesiology, therapeutic exercise and Eastern practices, breathing gymnastics and body-oriented therapy.

Over those years I have also been buying and testing (on myself first) all sorts of massagers, devices, techniques and orthopaedic products. Some of them have "stuck": I use them in my practice and recommend them, as an aid to recovering and building up health, to the people who come to me for help. You always need to know how far a particular method is right for you.

What "Bone by bone" is about

...and how it will help you personally?

Roughly once or twice a week we take one product (a device, a method, an advertisement...) and go through it "bone by bone", looking at it from every side:

Who will benefit from it? (pros and cons)

When to use it and for how long?

What the contraindications and the hidden catches are

When it is better to avoid it or to look for an alternative

What the advertising leaves out or dresses up...

Suggest your topics: write in the comments which methods, devices or products in the field of health you would like to know more about. If I do not have the answer myself, I will bring in other specialists so that we can take your question apart bone by bone.

As for me, I have decided to start with the "orthopaedic traction pillow"

PS For objective reasons this will be a text and picture format for now. After 1 July there are events planned on the topic, plus an audio or video review. Thank you for understanding. Take care of yourselves and stay well! And do not forget to add YOUR topics for discussion!)
