Most people feel anxious at some point in their lives. It can be mild unease or something far more intense, such as generalised anxiety or panic attacks.
Common symptoms of anxiety disorders:
- nervousness or unease with no obvious cause;
- the feeling that you are “about to explode”;
- you find it hard to concentrate;
- chronic fatigue;
- irritability;
- disturbed sleep and breathing problems;
- frequent panic attacks.
There is a whole range of things that set anxiety off: stress at work, difficulties in a relationship, financial insecurity or health problems. There is of course nothing wrong with the experience itself, as a response to the situation you are in, but when this state produces uncontrollable and excessive worry that affects our everyday life, it is worth turning to an appropriate specialist and, at the very least, putting the following tips and recommendations into practice
Today there are many productive ways not only of getting past anxiety and unease, but of avoiding them in future as well.
