Does Penis Size Matter?

Being great in bed — or anywhere else — is not about the size of your penis, but about how you use it. Understanding and sensing what is good for you and for your partner, and trying different movements and positions, will serve you far better than worrying about size. Find out, try things, experiment.

What matters is HOW

Learn to make the best possible use of what you have. Use different ways of giving your partner pleasure, and you will become a rock star in bed, or whoever else you want to be. When you focus on size and nothing else, you go limp — in both senses of the word.

Don't neglect the art of lovemaking on the assumption that a big dick is all it takes to wake up someone's world of sexuality... it isn't.

The same goes for men on the smaller side who think only about the length and width of their manhood. Either way, the main thing is to switch your brain on, and you will find a solution whatever the hand you were dealt.

X-size

A bigger dick doesn't necessarily match what you may have heard in the men's changing room or read in an online ad. Bigger is not everything! Unlike the average, it comes with a higher risk of infections and injury. Excess length can be awkward and cause a great deal of discomfort in certain positions. Too much girth raises the risk of tearing (if you aren't careful!), especially during anal sex. And don't forget the gag reflex you will have to face and fight during oral sex. Of course there are ways and techniques for getting round these problems; it simply has to be said that having a huge D does not solve every problem in bed.

Less is more

A smaller D lets both partners concentrate on pleasure rather than on pain, or on trying to work out what effect you are about to produce.

A small penis definitely fits into the mouth more easily. And in anal sex small simply rules. It is worth remembering that any penis size and any perceived shortcoming is easily (and enjoyably) put right by the right position.

The average penis size

It is smaller than you most likely think.

Most people — around 85 per cent — greatly overestimate the average size of a penis and are convinced that other men are significantly bigger. As the saying goes: "it's always thicker in someone else's hands" (or is the grass greener? — it doesn't change the meaning)

And here is the reality, based on the most recent data on the size of the D — the average penis length is about 9 centimetres when flaccid and 13 centimetres when erect. The diameter of an average erect penis comes to about 11 and a half centimetres.

Size and stamina are different things

You may be "hung like a horse", but that was never designed for long-distance running. A big dick will not last longer than a smaller one. Size has nothing to do with stamina, or with your ability to finish later than you would like.

It has no effect on fertility

If you are planning to have a child, the last thing you should be doing is agonising over the size of your penis. Sperm is produced in the testicles, whereas stress most certainly reduces sperm activity and affects desire in general — it lowers sexual activity, disrupts erectile function and has a negative effect on your overall health.

How to get more out of what you hav

Don't think I'm trying to put any pressure on you, but a fact is a fact — the size of your penis matters less than what you do with it.

There is nothing better than bringing your partner to ecstasy. That alone will send your self-esteem sky-high, and it will serve you well far beyond the bedroom.

The secret to using a big, average or small dick isn't the penis itself — at least not at first.

Never forget your partner! Give them some extra attention.

Don't use only your dick. Caress the erogenous zones, explore, and be surprised at how many arousing spots there are — not only on the genitals, but on the arms, or behind the knees, for instance.

If you are both ready, choose a position that gives your partner more control over the depth of penetration. It will help them adjust to a pace you enjoy, and on top of that you get a stunning view and easy access to other parts of the body for maximum pleasure.
