What do the frustration types especially want?
Manipulating frustration types is a very, very difficult business. What will probably help here is knowing what gives them pleasure. Having a den of their own, for instance, a hermit's cave. They adore solitary creative work, the flow. And if it comes to dealing with other people, then long interviews, strategies, games of chess.
A good little key to the frustration types is the formula “finish it well, badly will happen by itself”. Why? Because if a perfect result is the end, there is nothing left to do! Whereas a bad one can still be put right. And if we remember that frustration types avoid responsibility as well, they will take the suggestion that they bear no responsibility for a bad result as worth its weight in gold.
And they also adore being asked questions. That way they can deal with other people from the teacher's position.
What the frustration types really rise to is being told: “nobody but you. Only you!”. This is the strongest of motivators: they feel that they are needed and they begin to act.
