On the difference between generations, or who will be in charge in 10 years?

The generational theory was developed by the economist and demographer N. Howe and the historian W. Strauss in 1991 (the Strauss–Howe generational theory). Independently of each other and at the same time (there it is, the universal mind), they analysed the history of the USA from 1584 onwards and derived a theory of the cyclical succession of generations that share the same values and moods.
