The older we get, the more baggage of failures we accumulate. It also goes by the name of "life experience". It is what helps idealists who understand nothing about the world, or perhaps about themselves, to classify every event more confidently, to make decisions and to act under uncertainty. That same baggage, however, sometimes slows us down very noticeably.
