Outwardly, Frustrating types look sweeping and free. Physically they are quite harmonious, neither heavy nor slim, with a light carelessness about their own body. Not because they dislike it: they love their own body and their own comfort. What is more, they are sometimes capable of admiring their own good looks.
That sense of light carelessness comes from a constant state of mild relaxation. Even in all that bustle they really are a little relaxed in the body. Perhaps that is why they move so fast.
The walk, accordingly, is sweeping, rollicking, massive, energetic. And abrupt at the same time, which is why Frustrating types are often taken for “angry”, aggressive people. They close the distance in a flash, they want to come up and hug you, and so they violate boundaries with ease. Psychopathic people do not see boundaries at all; the Frustrating type sees them, violates them, and even gets a kick out of the violation.
Men of the frustrating personality type are usually short and inclined to be lean — neither thin nor fat, with a sense of sturdiness about them. As a rule they keep in shape by themselves, thanks to constant activity. Their physicality is normal, as it is with the Compulsive type, but their muscles are in better tone.
Women have a unique quality: if you do not look too closely, the body seems perfectly normal. But start looking more carefully, and you get a sense of a “construction kit”, as if the woman had been assembled out of several different people, out of parts that do not quite match. A “life belt” instead of a waist is typical.
Women often prefer ginger and orange shades in their clothes and in their hair colour. They frequently have a leaning towards, and a love of, large pieces of jewellery.
When it comes to aesthetics and fashion, though, the Frustrating type does not like a finished look. Everything will seem to be well chosen, the colour and the style may be almost exactly right, yet the feeling remains that something is unfinished, something has been left slightly undone, something is just a little missing.
How do you spot them by their speech?
Frustrating types are as easy to recognise by their speech as by the buzzing of their restless inner motor. Their favourite phrases:
- “If we don't do it now, everything will be lost, and we'll never do it at all, we'll miss the moment, the luck, and so on.”
- “It's all his fault!” “I didn't say that, I didn't do it, it wasn't me, you misunderstood me.”
- “Don't read my words that way. Let's work out what I actually meant to say. Though, come to think of it, I didn't mean to say that either”
- “Since you don't like the way I behave, I wash my hands of it and I'm off. You answer for everything yourselves, and you do everything yourselves.”
- “You do it yourself – you'll make a better job of it, I'd be slow about it, and I've no time, I'm busy.”
