What the frustrating type should strengthen

This is not a list of flaws — the strengths of the type are already there. What follows is what it usually lacks, and what can be built up with practice.

In short: taking it slowly, pauses, silence · responsibility for the result, not passing it on · attention to the small things · gratitude to those who carry it out · listening to other people's opinions · forgiving yourself and others

Taking it slowly, pauses, silence. In the constant race for success the value of a pause gets lost. Being able to slow down and rest restores your strength and lets you look again at your own goals. The same belongs here: the ability to value simple things — a cup of tea, a walk, a conversation with someone close.

Responsibility for the result, not passing it on. The habit of blaming others when something has gone wrong leaves you without a footing. Admitting that the result follows from your own decisions as well becomes, in itself, a tool for growth.

Attention to the small things. Concentrating on the grand scale hides the details out of which the whole is made. Attention to the small things gives value back to every step of the way, and not only to the finish.

Gratitude to those who carry it out. Valuing the contribution of those who put the idea into practice, and admitting that the success is not yours alone.

Listening to other people's opinions. Especially when they differ from your own: taking other people's experience and logical arguments into account.

Forgiving yourself and others. Everyone has a right to their own point of view. The book notes separately: value not only those who are useful now, but also those who were once close. Solving this task brings peace to the soul.
