The careers in which Manic people can develop their potential to the full have already been named above. They are the military, the founders of schools and traditions, judges, legislators, legalists, enforcers, representatives of the system that punishes misconduct.
If they go into science, then not as researchers but as theoreticians, as bearers and popularisers of an idea. If a person of the Manic type heads a laboratory, that laboratory will most likely push its way to the front, become visible, and produce a great many publications. Because everyone will be lined up and everyone will hand their papers in on time.
The manic personality type often realises itself among the servants of religion and the church, at the level of a priest and above, preferably within a diocese. They can become defence lawyers. This is also where the large-scale accountant turns up.
They make superb managers. Then again, creativity is not something to expect from them. Left to themselves they will not go in for creative flights, but as a leader they really are very good indeed. They will keep a check on everything, everything will be exactly as it should be — strict enough, precise, systematic and, most importantly, free of any personal colouring. A very clear-cut position, in other words.
Personal colouring will show up in one case only: if you tread on his rightness. Say “you are wrong”, and the whole personal relationship will be thrown at you on the spot.
